Eduardo "Selvagem" Fraga is a world renowned instructor of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is known for his dynamic teaching style emphasizing basic technique, hard training and producing champion fighters. He began his training in Sao Paulo at age of 6 and was awarded black belt when he was 22. He received all four of his degrees directly from Ralph Gracie. Eduardo taught Jiu Jitsu in Brazil at his own academy for more then 10 years before relocating to Berkeley, CA in 2008 to become the chief instructor at Ralph Gracie Berkeley. While in Brazil he fought vale tudo with a 7-3 record he has placed 9x Pan Ams (Black Belt), 7x Sao Paulo State Champion, 2010 US Open Gold (Masters - Absolute), 2009 US Open Silver (Masters).
He currently dedicates his life to promoting the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle. "My goal is to train hard and compete until I die. I want my students to train hard, learn good jiu jitsu, perform well at tournaments and be champions in their lives." Eduardo is also the head instructor of the new Ralph Gracie Thailand (Bangkok BJJ). He enjoys the California lifestyle, cycles regularly the East Bay Hills and surfs whenever he can!
